Pasta with Leftover Roast Chicken

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
All praises to the Messenger Muhammad S.A.W.

I got bit by the cooking bug! Well, I always like to cook anyway. So yesterday, I thought well, there was still some leftover roast chicken from last night's dinner, so might as well make something from the leftover. Afterall I don't really feel like eating rice. So I made Pasta with Leftover Roast Chicken for school lunch. Still yum for me! And it left me feeling full way till Maghrib!

This one is just me trying to satisfy my cravings but unsure of what the recipe is. So I just grab whatever's available in the kitchen. So the instruction below is how I made it. You can adjust to your own liking, okie dokie?

1. Boil your pasta of choice. I used the Shell looking ones just cuz it's easier to eat and that's what's available in the pantry. People usually advice to do it al dante but I have no idea how to achieve that. So, I just boil em how I like em.
2. Dice onions as much as you like (mine's half of an onion) and mince two cloves of garlic
3. Stir fry them in a hot pan with some oil till the onions turn translucent.
4. Then throw in the leftover roast chicken (I just cut mine in biteable pieces) and keep on stir-frying.
4. Alright, so leaving the pan a short while, I took a cup of full cream milk and microwave em for 1:30 minutes. Then I pour the hot milk on top of the chickens. Keep on stirring!
5. Then throw in the pasta to let it mix. At this point, I was expecting the milk to thickens. But in all honesty, it didn't. Hence why using cream is better. But to overcome this, I took a slice of cheddar cheese and drop it in to thicken the sauce.
6. When it looks like it's about done, throw in the peas and walla! Done! Don't forget to season though with salt and pepper (and in my case i put a dash of Paprika)
